This Privacy Policy explains how Zapph ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects your information when you use the Zapph mobile application (the "App"). By creating an account or otherwise using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
Account information. When you register, we collect your name, username, email address, and password (stored in encrypted form by our authentication provider). You may optionally add a profile photo, bio, location, and other profile details.
Content you create. Posts, photos, videos, audio, comments, messages, stories, job listings, marketplace service listings, and reviews you post or send through the App.
Connections and activity. Who you follow, who follows you, likes, comments, shares, saved posts, and similar interactions.
Communications. Messages, calls (audio/video), and call metadata (timing and participants) exchanged through the App's messaging features.
Device and usage data. Device type, operating system, app version, IP address, crash logs, and general usage analytics (e.g., which features you use and when).
Push notification tokens. A device token used to deliver notifications to you, managed through Firebase Cloud Messaging.
Presence information. Whether you are currently online and when you were last active, shown to other users as part of the App's social features.
Payment information. If you subscribe to a paid plan or purchase a boost, payment processing is handled by our payment provider; we do not store your full card details ourselves.
We do not sell your personal information. We share information in the following circumstances:
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you the App's features. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal information within a reasonable period, except where retention is required for legal, security, or fraud-prevention purposes.
Zapph is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected information from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly.
We use industry-standard technical and organizational measures, including encrypted authentication and secure cloud infrastructure, to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your information may be processed and stored on servers located in countries other than your own. By using the App, you consent to this transfer of information.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the effective date above and, where appropriate, through an in-app notice.
